Mitchell Branches Donate to Local Agencies through United Way BankWest officials pledged $5,000 to local agencies benefited by the Mitchell Area United Way. The Salvation Army, Weekend Snack Pack, Davison County Child Protection, James Valley Drug/DUI Court and Love Feast were selected to receive $1,000 each through the Mitchell Area United Way. Dunk Tank Fundraiser Garners $4,000 for American Heart Association This year Pierre BankWest employees held a dunk tank extravaganza to raise funds for the American Heart Association and the Central South Dakota Heart Walk. Nine employees were dunked and the fundraising goal of $3,000 was surpassed, leaving BankWest Chairman, President and CEO, Charles H. Burke III to be dunked. Eighteen Scholarships Awarded for 2019-2020 School Year This spring 18 BankWest Scholarships were awarded to students from across South Dakota for the 2019-20 school year. Each student will receive a $1,500 scholarship to pursue post-secondary education at a school of their choice. Over 65 students applied for this year’s scholarships. Our Performance Guarantee.
